Leaking, troublesome flat roof ?
There is another way - the next generation
of flat roofing is here! GRP Roofing Systems are the latest roofing technology that is both maintenance free and provides a watertight seal. All new fibreglass roof installations come with
a 20 year guarantee and you'll never need to replace or repair roofing felt ever again! If you'd like to know more about GRP Roofing, see our FAQ page and call us now on 01227 808655 for a free no obligation quote or to simply discuss the options.
Why GRP Roofing ?
GRP Roofing (Fibreglass). If you're
reading this page the likelihood is that you need a roof replaced or repaired or perhaps you're an architect or builder considering using GRP as part of a new-build or renovation project? You
have probably considered other flat roofing solutions such as the traditional felt, rubber or similar membranes but nothing on the market has the same longevity or is as watertight as properly applied GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic otherwise known as fibreglass).
We offer a 20 year transferable guarantee
on our GRP Roofing although it will probably last a lot longer as fibreglass is very tough and won’t deteriorate at the rate of felt or rubber. As for waterproofing, fibreglass is the same product
used to make boats and therefore once the strong fibreglass layer is laid, a durable topcoat is rolled over the top creating a fully sealed surface. Installed correctly, water cannot penetrate
through any seams. Fibreglass can also be moulded to any area, around roof lights and other obstacles. We also offer bespoke roof colours should you be looking
for something a little different.
What will it cost?
You may be pleasantly surprised! GRP
roofing will be a little more expensive than traditional felt or rubber membrane roofing, largely because of the cost of materials and expertise needed to fit it properly. Typically we can
fit GRP for around just 30-40% more than fitting the same felt roof but with the benefits that it will last much, much longer, is more durable, maintenance free and it looks better. If you
already have a quote from elsewhere for GRP roofing then please do contact us to compare as we're often able to come in cheaper due to the volume of materials we purchase wholesale.
